VARZ is a hex-based tactical trading card game set in a Tokyo transformed by urban legends, mythology, rituals, strange rumors, and supernatural beings known as Spils. Every unit occupies a real position on the battlefield, and every movement can change the route toward a Hero or Portal.
The official website is the central hub for learning the game, exploring cards, building decks, finding opponents, recording matches, following development, and joining the community shaping the future of VARZ.

VARZ takes place in a Tokyo distorted by mysterious lands and portals.
Players command a Hero, summon Spils, and fight across a shared hex-based battlefield. Victory depends not only on which cards are played, but also on where units are placed, how routes are controlled, and when an attack is launched.

Browse the Card List
The Card List allows players to explore the current VARZ card pool.
Cards can be examined by color, type, cost, class, keyword, and other characteristics. This makes the Card List useful both for discovering the world of VARZ and for researching cards while building a deck.
Each color creates a different battlefield:
- Red: Immediate pressure, movement, direct damage, and explosive attack turns
- Blue: Sync, return-to-hand effects, protection, and control of the match’s tempo
- Green: Growth, Power counters, durable formations, and Beast synergy
- Purple: Dropped abilities, sacrifice, Life pressure, and dangerous exchanges
- Yellow: Portal defense, Armor, recovery, and value from the Ruins
- Silver: Teleportation, forced movement, ability removal, and battlefield manipulation
Build and Share Decks
The official Deck Builder connects card research directly to play.
Players can:
- Choose a Hero and primary color
- Search and filter cards
- Build a 30-card Spell Deck
- Prepare the Skill and Portal Decks
- Check construction requirements and card totals
- Save and share deck lists
- Prepare supported decks for Tabletop Simulator play
Find Opponents and Play Online
The website and official Discord community connect players who want to play VARZ online.

We will continue improving the rules, card data, Deck Builder, matchmaking, match records, Replay Viewer, events, player profiles, statistics, and community systems as VARZ moves toward its worldwide release.
Some functions, displays, and recorded data may change during the pre-launch period. Player feedback will be used to improve usability, reliability, and the overall experience.
