Starter Deck League – Season Zero

The Starter Deck League – Season Zero is an online pre-launch league designed to help players:

learn VARZ, experience all six colors, and prepare for deck building before Kickstarter begins.

This league focuses on playing and understanding the game, not just winning.

Matches are played asynchronously, so you can participate at your own pace.

Season Zero runs until:

March 1, 11:59 PM (ET)

(All results must be reported before this deadline.)

Kickstarter launches on March 2.

This is the final battle before launch.

You may join at any time before the deadline.

🎮 What is the Starter Deck League?

Play using official pre-built Starter Decks
No deck building required
Arrange matches freely with other players
Report results in the league channel

The goal is simple:

Walk the six colors. Learn the battlefield. Prepare for launch.

🖥 Required Tool: Tabletop Simulator

Matches are played using Tabletop Simulator (TTS).

You will need:

PC
Tabletop Simulator (Steam version)
Official VARZ TTS mod

If you're new to TTS, setup instructions are available in the community.

🧩 Rules

You may play any number of matches during the league period
Only official Starter Decks may be used
You are encouraged to switch deck colors between matches
There is no fixed schedule — play when you are available

This league is designed to be work-friendly and flexible.
